Academic Orientation
Central Michigan University's orientation program provides you with a comprehensive introduction to the university prior to your first registration for classes. Whether you are a new freshman or a transfer student from another college, you will get answers to your questions and more at an orientation session. New undergraduate students are required to attend orientation to finalize admission.

Spring semester classes begin Monday, January 11, 2010; semester ends May 8, 2010.
Reserving Your Date to Attend
Upon admission to CMU, an admit kit is mailed to you from the Admissions office. Within this kit is information regarding payment of the new student orientation fee. After your new student orientation fee has been paid and processed by CMU, you will be sent a postcard asking you to reserve your orientation date by using our online reservation system.
