Orientation

Inside the Park Library

CMU’s comprehensive orientation program, designed for new students and their families, will get you off to a great start. Your required orientation completes your admission process to CMU.

Orientation will help you:

  • Meet classmates, student leaders, professors and academic advisors
  • Select and register for your first classes
  • Get to know the university’s support offices, such as Scholarships and Financial Aid, Student Employment Services and Residence Life

CMU has customized orientation sessions for freshmen, transfer students and families. To schedule an orientation session, send in your new student registration fee of $175. You will then be able to select an orientation date.
