Step Four: Orientation
Welcome! CMU’s orientation programs are designed to help new CMU students feel comfortable on campus from the minute they get here.
- Schedule your orientation by completing and returning your Academic Orientation Session Preference Form – you should receive this after Feb. 1.
- Sessions are available in May, June, July, and August. Parents are encouraged to attend these one-day sessions.
- Participate in Campus and Community Life Orientation sessions the week before classes begin.
- Consider participating in Leadership Camp in May or Leadership Safari in August. Both are designed to help students become more active leaders starting in their freshmen year.
