It's true, there is no place like home. But CMU residence halls come close. Nearly every suite in CMU's 22 residence halls includes a separate bathroom, bedroom, and study/living room, making CMU's residence halls some of the most spacious in Michigan.

From CMU Police keeping our campus safe, to caring staff members in academic advising, to faculty who go the extra mile to help students learn, we pride ourselves on the small college experience we offer at a large university with all the resources your student needs.

We offer:

• Convenient, walk-in campus health clinic
for comprehensive health care away from home.

• Safety initiatives that ensure a positive university experience for all students.


• Student Success Centers in every residence hall quad staffed by an academic advisor, counselor in residence and a career counselor to help where and when it's most convenient for students


• Career fairs and on-campus interviews with more than 400 employers each year, internships, resume and cover letter critique, recorded mock interviews - all available through our Career Services office.


• Student employment office offers valuable work opportunities across the university.
