Interests/Areas of Expertise: I am a proponent of Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences Theory and would be happy to pass along this practical and beneficial theory/practice to teachers in rural schools who will find great results in the classroom.

Rural Experience: Student Teacher Coordinators have many opportunities to observe student teachers who have been placed in rural schools. Although most of my student teachers are placed in the Mt. Pleasant Public Schools, I have placements in small towns in the area.

Student Involvement: I have undergraduate students in Introduction to Teaching that would love to have more opportunities to be involved in classroom activities. Students could help with elementary school lessons and could lead lessons if applicable.

Availability: I would like at least a couple months notification for planning purposes. I am available to work on projects September through May.
