Interests/Areas of Expertise: As a practicing social worker, I worked in direct services (domestic violence, substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, and child welfare) and administration for a number of years.

Rural Experience: Some. I have lived in northern Michigan and worked in smaller towns.  I have taught as CMU in social work since 2002, working with the agencies where students are placed for four years.  Rural social work practice is a teaching emphasis on our program.

Student Involvement:

Availability: Lead time for planning purposes will depend on the project. I am available in the spring and summer for projects
