The Briggs family of Independence, Iowa - mother Evelyn and her three daughters, Kess, Joe and Sherry - struggle to find a balance between family and individuality. At times deeply angry and dysfunctional, and others humorous and loving, the four women search for a balance that will allow all of them to survive their lives apart and together.

Making a Difference

Dr. Jane Goodall

Dr. Goodall will be giving a keynote speech about her experiences with the Gombe chimpanzees,
she will also be talking about the Jane Goodall Institute and its continued research into chimpanzees
and efforts to protect and preserve their habitats.
