H1N1 Planning at CMU

H1N1 Influenza

With the flu season upon us, CMU is closely monitoring the number of cases in our community with the health and welfare of our students, faculty and staff as our first priority.

Given the anticipated spread of the H1N1 Influenza virus, CMU's Core Crisis Group is working closely with University Health Services and the Central Michigan District Health Department.

We are following the guidelines provided by our local health department and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The Core Crisis Group is meeting regularly to assess flu conditions and make decisions on appropriate actions to be taken in the event of an outbreak.

Posters are being placed in high-traffic areas across campus to raise awareness about H1N1. In addition to periodic e-mail updates, CMU will post the latest information on seasonal and H1N1 Influenza on this Web site.
