International Undergraduate Scholarships

A number of merit-based awards help international students finance their education at Central Michigan University. To be eligible for these awards, you must be a non-immigrant student who will be new to the university and plan to earn an undergraduate degree. You must meet all eligibilty requirements for admission to CMU.

All the awards are renewable, and students may receive the scholaships as many as eight semesters. Scholarships are applied to payment or reduction of tuition and may not exceed the cost of tuition in any semester.

Students who enroll in CMU's English Language Institute, which is a non-degree program, are eligible for the scholarships after comleting the ELI program and earning admission to an undergaduate degree program. A scholarship application form should be completed and returned to the Office of International Affairs (OIA) 2 months prior to completeing the ELI program.

Student's are eligible to recieve only one of the scholarships listed below.

If you are enrolled in a degree-granting program at CMU and are registered full-time for the semester in which you would be working, you are eligible to work on campus part-time.
