Faculty International Development

Educating responsible global citizens and effective world leaders in this increasingly interdependent world is the most urgent and challenging task facing higher education institutions today. Faculty members are key players in this educational process in terms of what should be included in the curriculum and how the international dimension should be infused into the courses offered to students.

Faculty development opportunities are the catalyst to enhance levels of awareness and understanding of CMU faculty in global issues and concerns. There have been more than 60 faculty members across the University who have taken advantage of faculty developement opportunities. Many of those have made significant contributions to the promotion of international education at CMU.
