Central Alert Emergency Notification System

If an emergency occurs that may delay operations or close the university, all students, faculty and staff currently are notified via email to their CMU email address.  

In addition, CMU now offers an emergency notification system "Central Alert" to provide information to users by phone, email or text messaging.  To receive emergency news alerts, all interested students must register to participate in the Central Alert system.
