Community Policing Officers

The Central Michigan University Police Department is fortunate to have two full-time Community Policing Officers assigned to the residence halls.  Officer Tim Prout is located in Carey 111 in the Towers Complex and Officer Laura Rico is located in Saxe Herrig Success Center 155B.  The role of a Community Policing Officer is to educate and promote awareness on any campus, state or federal law or issue.
