Early Move-In Information

Residence halls officially open Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. with dinner being the first official meal served that evening. Early arrivals may move-in beginning at noon on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at the fee listed below. No pre-registration is needed for early arrival. You may check in at the front desk of your assigned residence hall. The charge for early arrivals depends on the day of check-in as follows:

Sunday, August 14 Check-in	$215.40
Monday, August 15 Check-in	$166.80
Tuesday, August 16 Check-in	$118.20
Wednesday, August 17 Check-in	$ 69.60

The early arrival package includes meals that begin with breakfast on Monday, August 15 and goes through lunch on August 18. Meals are not optional and the rate will not be broken down. For example, if a student moves in on Tuesday afternoon the total amount owed will be $118.20. A key will be issued to the resident when the total amount is paid at the front desk, via a Student Account Charges Form. All early arrival meals will be served in the Fresh Food Company Residential Restaurant in the East Area residence halls.

Students who only want to drop off their belongings will be charged $45.00 for this privilege. These students will not be issued a key.

Students who are taking part in some athletic teams and the Leadership Safari program will not be charged for early move-in. Athletes should check with their coach for more information.
