Transfer Students |
|
 |
 |
More than 1,500 students transfer to Central Michigan University each year from
community colleges and other accredited universities and colleges. Transfer
students are a top priority at CMU. To apply to CMU you should take the
following steps:
Step 1:
Meet with your academic advisor at the college or university you currently
attend or contact an admissions advisor at Central Michigan University. An
advisor will help you create a transfer plan that will ease your transition to
CMU. You can review transfer credit
information including articulation agreements and equivalency
information with your advisor at that time. You also might want to review CMU’s
transfer policies with your advisor. If you have questions at any time,
contact us.

|
Step 2:
Request that your official transcripts from any colleges or universities you
have attended be sent directly to CMU. If you have completed fewer than 30
college semester hours, you also must submit your high school transcript.
Step 3:
Fill out an application and pay the $35
application fee.
We also welcome all transfer students to take advantage of the CMU
visit opportunities where you can tour our beautiful campus or meet
with an admissions representative.
Interested in taking classes where you live? Transfer students also may consider
our off-campus
programs or CMU online.
