Honors Alumni Service Award Recipients
Each year the Honors Program recognizes an alum who has served the Honors Program, going above and beyond expected alumni involvement. In May 2008 the first Honors Service Award Recipient went to Mr. Ricardo Resio, ‘95
- Ricardo serves as the Director of Human Resources for the Rehmann Group in Saginaw, Michigan. His responsibilities include providing labor law counsel, managing employee relations for all offices, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, developing and implementing policies and procedures and providing human resource consulting to clients.
- Founding Member of the Honors Alumni Board and Current Board Member
- Attends Honors Alumni Board Meetings twice a year.
- Speaker at the Honors Graduation Ceremony (twice)
- Centralis Competition Alumni Volunteer (numerous times)
- Centralis Interview Day Volunteer (numerous times)
- Guest speaker at the Honors Outreach Network (twice)
- Encouraged the board to form an Honors Alumni Mentoring Network
- Helped us with alumni surveys
- Serves as an alumni mentor to current Honors students
- Formed the first ever Honors Alumni Internship for current Honors students in the area of Human Resources
- Has assisted with the Honors fundraisers which have led to the development of Honors Alumni Scholarships for current Honors Students.
- Has served on the Honors Alumni Scholarship Review Committee
- Attends all Honors Alumni Events and brings his beautiful family with him.
- He is connected to many Honors alumni and helps us locate alumni for speakers, events, etc…
