12 CARATS (Celebrating Amity & Reflecting Asian Traditions through Sisterhood) is a group of young, smart, driven women who strive to strengthen the bonds of sisterhood, promote Asian awareness, breast cancer, leadership and scholarship.
African Student Association
A cultural and educative group, geared towards promoting African culture. Our main goal as African students is to create a united African community among both students and faculty and to promote diversity and cultural awareness among our peers by integrating the African culture on the Central Michigan University campus.

The purpose of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, and to be of service to all mankind.

The Chinese Student and Scholar Association consists of more than 180 Chinese students and scholars at CMU who are strongly interested in promoting cultural understanding in the CMU community.

CACU. is an organization with the purpose of publicizing long-standing cultural issues that remain unresolved locally and nationally. We strive to maintain a non-confrontational stance in hopes of promoting unity amongst various cultures.
Delta Sigma Theta
The Theta Theta Chapter was chartered on April 24, 1971, becoming the first black sorority on CMU's campus. Today we strive to uphold the principles, duties, and legacy of our illustrious founders.
Gay/Straight Alliance (GSA)
The GSA is focused on making a safe environment free of discrimination and where all are valued. We plan educational and social programs to bring a focus to diversity and sexual orientation and breaking down gender stereotypes.
Hillel/Jewish Student Organization
The Hillel/Jewish Student Organization is the only student organization providing programming on Jewish religious, historical, cultural, political and social interests. Our events are open to all students attending CMU.
Indian Students Organization
The ISA shall be a non-profit, non-political, non-religious association formed to bring together individuals who share an interest in various aspects of Indian life and culture.
Infusion Dance Team
The infusion dance team was created so that all forms of dance will be represented. We hope to established a diverse community around dance, and create a team with unity and a true love for the art. The team will be highly active around campus.
