Hubbard, president and CEO of Healthy, Wealthy & Wise Change Agents, LLC, was appointed to the Board of Trustees by Governor Jennifer Granholm on January 27, 2005. She previously served as corporate vice president and chief diversity officer for Henry Ford Health System. Earlier in her career she was selected by Chrysler Corporation as one of the first four women nationwide to be trained to own and operate Chrysler dealerships. In 2008, she was appointed to the board of the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges (AGB). She received her bachelor's degree from University of Detroit Mercy, a Master of Science in Administration degree from CMU; and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from The American Institute of Holistic Theology. Hubbard lives in Bloomfield Township.
