Our staff is made up of talented musicians who have a wealth of experience as former drum majors at both high school and university levels. Their knowledge of field techniques include both a variety of traditional approaches, as well as the most up-to-date drum corps styles. They are also well trained in drill writing, conducting, and drum major adjudication. Our staff is dedicated to giving you an enjoyable, successful drum major experience that will make you an inspiration to your fellow musicians at home.

- Field Movement Technique
- Conducting and Score Preparation
- Leadership and Motivation
- Signal Baton and Mace Technique
Color Guard Camp July 7-143th
Join clinic leaders and staff from all across Michigan and the Midwest region to learn the latest techniques and skills to keep you on the cutting edge of color guard development. Welcoming all skill levels of color guard students and captains who want to improve their skills and teaching technique. Campers will learn:

Camp Life
During this six day experience, you will not only participate and learn the latest trends in Drum Major or Color Guard but you will experience life at CMU.
- While at camp, you spend your days and evenings learning from top instructors in the Mid-West
- Perfect a final routine to perform on the final day of camp inside CMU's Kelly Shorts Stadium
- The CMU School of Music hosts a Talent Show and Dance on the last night of camp
- Experience life in residence halls and all-you-can-eat buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Create new friendships with fellow camp attendees

Cancellation/Refund
Your registration fee will be refunded if a written notice is received in our office on or before June 14th, 2013. CMU reserves the right to cancel any or all sessions of the Drum Major and/or Color Guard Clinic on or before June 14, 2013.
