Brief Biography:

Rick Sykes joined the BCA faculty after spending nearly 24 years in the communications business, including 17 years in broadcast news. He has held a number of news positions including reporter, anchor, news producer, assignment editor and news manager. He has worked at both mid-size and major market television stations. After leaving the news business, he spent more than six years as a senior executive with a public relations firm.
