Professional activities and interests:

Dr. Farrar has taught a wide range of courses from both the department's school and professional counseling sequences. He has functioned as a clinical director, the chair of a ten member high school counseling department, and as a consultant to numerous municipalities, school districts, private sector corporations, and the court system. He maintains a private practice, specializing in chemical dependency and relationship counseling. He has also lectured on numerous topics, including his latest research into female mate selection.

Personal interests:

Dr. Farrar has been happily married for many years to his spectacular wife, Anita. They have two amazing adult children, John and Christina, and one most energetic grandson, Jackson. The Farrars enjoy golf, travel, and spending time with their children whenever possible.
