About the EHSRC
The Education and Human Services
Residential College (EHSRC) is a community within Central Michigan University
that supports undergraduate students who are pursing education and human
service related professions. This unique living-learning environment helps
prepare students for an optimal college experience and for future success in an
education or human service related career.
The program requires and supports the
proactive engagement of each student in each of 5 areas (C.L.A.S.S.):
- Community
- Leadership
- Academic
- Service
- Scholarship
Engagement in these five core areas also
helps each student develop a comprehensive portfolio of experiences and
qualifications for their continued professional/graduate school education.
Students who choose this friendly,
supportive community are
given opportunities to excel individually and as a part of a team through
programming focused on academics, community building, volunteer service and
leadership development.
The EHSRC is a partnership service
provided by The College of Education and Human Services and the CMU Office of
Residence Life.
The EHSRC is located on the fourth floor
of Sweeney Hall (click here

housed within the South Area Complex.
