Kundana is a research associate at the Institute for Health and Business Insight (IHBI).  She joined IHBI in February 2012.  Her responsibility is to capture, collect, analyses, and transform of complex datasets so they can be incorporated into research projects to bucket the outcome measures.  She played a significant role in writing summary documents and proposal reports for research projects to identify project needs.  She gained knowledge on ICD 9 and ICD 10 codes and their transformation.  She is proficient in mind mapping techniques, Geographic Information Systems- Mapping, and Zotero bibliography. She has exposure and familiarity with collaboration tools such as 37signals, Sharepoint, Go To Meeting, and WebEx.

Prior to joining IHBI, she worked as E*Value administrator at College of Medicine, CMU from March 2011 to December 2011.  She has assisted in developing the curriculum mapping and designing the courses including syllabus and objectives. She acted as a liaison between CMED staff and E*Value staff.  Her primary responsibility as an administrator was to check the overall performance and to maintain the database with changing curriculum.  She played a key role in updating and correcting data base entries to meet the specifications of CMED staff.

Kundana earned MS in Health Service Administration at CMU (December 2011).  During that time, she worked as a Graduate Assistant for the College of Graduate Studies from August 2010 to May 2011. Her primary responsibility was to analyze graduate student application and admission data using Microsoft Excel, and Access.  She also organized and supervised the 2010 Graduate Education Fair.  She has a BS in Pharmacy (May 2009), India.

Kundana was admitted into the Data Mining program at CMU which starts in spring 2013.  She was also awarded Masters Research Assistantship starting from spring 2013.  She is interested in positions like Research Analyst, Data Analyst, and Health Administrator.
