Mr. Joseph Kok is the Recruiting Operations Officer for the Chippewa Battalion. He has been in the Army Reserve since 2006. As an enlisted Soldier, he was a Motor Transport Specialist, and as an Officer he has been a Platoon Leader, Detachment Commander, Company XO/Operations Officer and is currently serving as Battalion S-4 in a Civil Affairs Battalion. He attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, SC; Advanced Individual Training for Motor Transport Specialist at Fort Bliss, TX; and Transportation Basic Officer Leadership Course at Fort Lee, VA. He graduated from CMU with a Bachelor of Science majoring in History and minoring in Military Science and Leadership. So far in his career he has received the Army Achievement Medal (Second Award), The Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal (Second Award), the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, among others. He and his wife Jessica have no children but are very soon getting a puppy!
