Student awarded fellowship at nature institute

Congratulations to creative writing student Courtney Kalmbach, winner of the 2012 Nature in Words Fellowship at Pierce Cedar Creek Institute. As a fellow, Kalmbach will spend the summer writing poems and studying ecopoetry and ecopoetics at the institute located near Hastings, Mich.

Bill Wandless receives Excellence in Teaching Award

Congratulations to English department chair Bill Wandless who was honored recently as one of CMU's outstanding faculty members.
