Beta Beta Beta (National Biology Honor Society)
The CMU Theta Zeta Chapter of Beta Beta Beta is a society for biology students dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research.

Chippewa Valley Audubon Club
(Mt Pleasant, Michigan Chapter of the National Audubon Society)
The Chippewa Valley Audubon Club is a chapter of the Michigan Audubon Society and is affiliated with the National Audubon Society. We were established in 1951 to promote the appreciation of nature and the responsible use of our natural resources. Membership is open to anyone, of any age, who enjoys the natural world and who would enjoy the fellowship of others of the same concerns and interests.
The club meets on the second Wednesday of the month from 7:00-9:00 PM at Veterans Memorial Library, 301 S. University in Mount Pleasant. All meetings and outings are open to the public.

Fisheries Club
The Fisheries Club provides fisheries-related experience to students of all majors, helps to establish professional contacts, better prepares future professionals, and fosters campus and community awareness of fisheries-related issues and research projects.
The club meets the first Tuesday of the month at 6:00 PM in Brooks Hall 148 to discuss current issues in fisheries and aquatic ecology. Activities include workshops, lectures, presentations for local schools and field trips.

The Pre-Physical Therapy Club is dedicated to informing and bringing together students interested in the field of Physical Therapy. Students range in ages, grades, and majors. Meetings provide insight to the graduate school application process, specialties in the field of physical therapy, assistance with undergrad major decisions and course work, along with interactions with physical therapists and graduate school faculty. Events are held during each semester, including socials, fund-raisers, and volunteer events.

Sierra Club – Michigan Chapter/Local Group
The Michigan Chapter of the Sierra Club is the statewide voice for the nation's oldest, largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization. For 40 years, the Michigan Chapter has organized the bold action of citizens working together to protect and restore our Great Lakes State’s health and heritage.
Sierra Club groups are run by local volunteers who host educational programs, outings, political and conservation activities, and general meetings. Group activities are tied to current environmental issues important to the community and family health. Sierra Club outings and group programs are open to the public.

The CMU Student Chapter of The Wildlife Society (TWS)
The Central Michigan University Student Chapter of The Wildlife Society focuses on preparing our members for their future careers in biology, specifically wildlife.
