Welcome!
Welcome to the 4S Pathways to Academic Student Success program at Central Michigan University! Not only are we excited to work hand and hand with you to achieve your personal and academic goals, but we are also excited that you are joining the Pathways family.

While you are a student at CMU we want to help you get the highest GPA's possible, sign a major, and help you move from freshmen year and beyond. Pathways' commitment to you is over your entire undergraduate career at CMU. Pathways is not a scholarship program, but a program that will help you navigate the university and graduate.

Each year you will complete an Academic Empowerment Plan which is a document designed to help you attain academic and personal success. Moving on to your sophomore year and the second year of the Pathways program indicates a successful first year. The goals in your academic plan are designed to help you to reach such success.

Your first year in the program is about getting acclimated to campus, building a solid academic foundation, and developing connections with your peers, faculty, and staff.  The goals of your current academic plan reflect this reality.
