Access to all library resources and services is provided to off-campus and online students and faculty by the Global Campus Library Services (GCLS) department. GCLS librarians provide Reference assistance and answer questions about the library’s services and resources via telephone, e-mail, web form, and a chat interface. Faculty may contact GCLS to arrange for an instructional session to be presented by a librarian to their classes at either a remote center or within the electronic classroom via Wimba. Librarians are available to assist patrons Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; Thursday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (EST).
GCLS also offers a document delivery service that allows patrons to obtain books as well as copies of single book chapters, journal articles, sample MSA and EDU projects, and more. This service is provided free of charge and all requests are typically processed within a 24 – 48 hour period. The hours of operation for the Document Delivery Office are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.; Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (EST).
