Annual University Campaign
A message to the CMU community
Why is it important to give to the Annual University Campaign? Here is some insight from our 2011 co-chairs - Mary Hill and Calvin Seelye:
"I believe education is the key to opening up opportunities for people of all ages. That is one of the many reasons I'm proud and delighted to co-chair the 2011 Annual University Campaign. As an alumna and 25 year veteran employee, I've experienced firsthand and observed the positive impact CMU has had on many lives. Contributing to CMU allows me to play a part in providing these opportunities to others. It also reinforces my belief that CMU is a great place to get an education and work. Whether it's a gift to an endowment, an individual department, or Athletics, I hope you too will join me in supporting CMU and all the wonderful opportunities CMU offers to students, faculty, staff, and the community.
Remember for every $2 gift, $1 is matched during the Annual University Campaign. Please consider giving now!
Thank you and FIRE UP CHIPS! " - Mary Hill
"It is truly an honor for me to serve as co-chair for the 2011 Annual Campaign at CMU. Having been actively involved in the CMU community for many years, I am committed to its' continued success. One of my mentors (a CMU employee and alumnus) has always stressed to me the value and importance of giving back to this great institution - it helped me to learn the important lesson of giving back. That said, I hope you too will see the important of supporting CMU during this year's Annual Campaign.
However you choose to support CMU, from athletics, scholarship or academics, for every $2 donated, $1 will be matched. Please consider being a part of this investment in CMU's future. Thank you for considering a donation, and FIRE UP CHIPS!" - Calvin Seelye
