Art Walk Central
The University Art Gallery is the largest venue for the Art Walk Central event. Modeled after Art Prize in Grand Rapids the exhibition has both public voting and juried awards. Organized by Art Reach of Central Michigan and sponsored in part by the City of Mt. Pleasant and CMU this exhibition will feature the works of artists from across Michigan and the United States. Not a Destination: Works of Al WIldey
This exhibition features the work by Al Wildey developed during a sabbatical in Fall 2012. Wildey is professor of photography in the Department of Art & Design. His work captures the journey and site of place through digital layering of visual information.

Global Matrix III
Global Matrix III is a contemporary review of fine art printmaking from around the world organized as a traveling exhibition by Purdue University Art Gallery for venues in the U.S. from 2012 to 2014. Previous installments of Global Matrix were presented in 2002 and 2007. With this year’s chosen works, the Global Matrix exhibits have featured a total of 225 works representing 180 individual artists from 31 countries around the world.
Work were selected for the exhibition by: Kathryn Reeves, Professor of Art & Design at Purdue University; Kimberly Vito, Associate Professor of Art & Art History at Wright State University; Sean Caulfield, Associate Professor of Art & Design at the University of Alberta; and Craig Martin, Director of the Purdue University Galleries. The team has previously collaborated on the first and second installments of “Global Matrix” in 2002 and 2007.
