Brief Biography:
Mr. Christian is chairman, president, and CEO of Saga Communications, Inc., a NYSE listed company. Saga owns or operates 90 radio stations, three state networks, and eight television stations in 24 markets across the United States. A leader in the broadcast industry at both the state and national level he has served as president of the Associated Press Broadcast Board, chairman of Arbitron's Radio Advisory Council, and been a member of the All Industry Radio Music License Committee, the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, the National Association of Broadcasters, the Broadcasters' Foundation, and the John Bayliss Scholarship Foundation. He is also Honorary Consul of Iceland for Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.
