The Department of Communication and Dramatic Arts offers the Master of Arts in Communication for individuals interested in pursuing a graduate degree in communication. This program is particularly relevant for:
The program provides a strong background in communication research and methods and classical and contemporary communication theory. Most classes are small, and faculty members are committed to maintaining supportive and personal interaction with graduate students.
To be admitted to the program, applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the last 60 hours of undergraduate study and at least 3.0 in the last 15 hours of speech communication courses or courses approved by the department. Students who do not meet the above requirements may be admitted to graduate study on a conditional basis.
