The Human Development Clinic is a multipurpose counseling center operated by the Department of Counseling and Special Education. The mission of the Clinic is to provide quality clinical services to the Mt. Pleasant area community at a reasonable cost. Graduate counseling students completing the final requirements for their Masters of Arts degree in Counseling provide continuing clinical services. Students in the Clinic are supervised by licensed professional counselors and psychologists with specializations in various counseling areas. The Human Development Clinic is a non-profit organization.

- Consultation with community agencies and schools
The Human Development Clinic is a non-profit training unit of Central Michigan University. In order to provide materials used by clients, and funds for graduate student training, fees are charged on a sliding scale. The sliding scale takes into consideration the base salary, after taxes, as well as the number of dependents in the family. Counseling services are generally free to students and families with incomes less than $5,000 per year.

Clinic Hours
Based on the university calendar, The Clinic is open several evenings during Fall and Spring semesters, and days and evenings during Summer term (Visit the CMU Registrar's site to access a

The Human Development Clinic is located in 326 EHS Building.
EHS is located on the campus of Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan off of Washington Street, between Ottawa Court and Ojibway Court.
