Interior Design Minor

This program provides students with the combination of skills and knowledge to successfully complement an existing major, or statisfy personal interests in the field of design. This minor is for students who want to develop fundamental knowledge and skills in drafting, visual communications, CAD, materials/components, design history and studio design applications. Students will document their work in a portfolio at the conclusion of their final studio course in IND 338.

IND 131 - Interior Design Studio I: Introduction (3 credits)
IND 138 - Visual Communication for Interior Design (3 credits)
IND 139 - Interior Design Drafting (3 credits)
IND 238 - Design History and Precedent (3 credits)
IND 334 - Computer-Aided Design for Interiors (3 credits)
IND 336 - Materials and Components of Interior Design (3 credits)
IND 337 - Interior Design Studio II: Residential (3 credits)
IND 338 - Internship Preparation for Interior Design (1 credit)
Total: 22 semester hours
