Public Act 339 of 1988 authorizes collection of fees for teacher certification in Michigan in accordance with the fee schedule listed below. In addition, the Administrative Rules Governing the Certification of Michigan Teachers require that an application for certification must be made no later than five years after certification requirements have been met. Payment of the fee is a certification requirement that must be met prior to the issuance of a Michigan teaching certificate. Fees are collected by the State of Michigan and are subject to change.
