Dr. Nana Korsah

The MSA "family" and the university community was saddened by the news that Dr. Nana Korsah unexpectedly passed away on June 8, 2012. 

Well respected and well liked, Dr. Korsah made many important contributions to the MSA program in his three years as director.  Among many accomplishments, Dr. Korsah hired three full-time faculty members, created a new concentration in Research Administration, and moved the program forward with international initiatives in China and in India.  It is difficult in a few words to express the impact that Dr. Korsah had on CMU.  He was a tireless student advocate and everyone who met him left as a friend.  A generous, caring man with a great laugh and boundless energy, he will be missed by his staff, faculty, and the university community.
