The Department of Physical Education & Sport offers several academic programs both at the undergraduate and graduate level. The faculty are committed to providing students with quality curriculums, incorporating real-world components that maximize student learning and ultimately success.

Majors

• Athletic Training. Graduates of this program become certified athletic trainers who can meet the needs of physically active individuals involved in sport, recreational, and occupational activities.
• Physical Education. This program leads to certification to teach physical education in kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Sports Studies . Graduates of this program begin careers in sport management in education, business, and professional sports.
