U.S. Senator Carl Levin visited Central Michigan University on November 22, 2009, to serve as the inaugural speaker for the Philip A. Hart and William G. Milliken Endowed Speaker Series for Integrity in Politics. His talk, "Keeping an Ethical Course in a Political Storm," was held in Bush Theatre in Moore Hall. Former Michigan Governor William G. Milliken and Michael Hart and Clyde Hart, sons of the late U.S. Senator Phil Hart, also attended the event.
