Senior and biology major Thomas McVay receives a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship

Senior and biology major Thomas McVay recently received a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. This highly competitive, multi-year fellowship will provide him with $30,000 per year to help cover his graduate school expenses.


CMC Herbarium receives grant and collaborates with state universities to create database of Michigan flora

The CMC Herbarium at CMU recently received a grant from The Hanes Trust Foundation, a private, Michigan-based, non-profit organization that funds worthy projects dealing with the flora and ecology of the state of Michigan.
