AT WILL EMPLOYEES:  All student employees at CMU have “At Will” status. “At Will” status means that student employees have the right to terminate their employment at any time with notice. Likewise, employers have the right to terminate “At Will” employees at any time for any legally permissible reason.

Approach departments directly.
Contact departments even if they do not have a posting.

CARRY THROUGH
Make a second contact about ten days later.
Contact more departments.  10-12 is a great start.

KEEP AT IT
Job postings change frequently.
Be persistent and don't give up!  It takes work to find work.
Do not get discouraged.  All it takes is one 'yes.'
