CMU and You Day Volunteers

​GEAR UP/College Day volunteers are the backbone of our program.

​
CMU student volunteers are a vital component of the GEAR UP/ College Day program. Volunteerism provides students with opportunities to make a difference and get first hand experience working with students. CMU students serve as campus ambassadors, mentors, facilitators and most importantly, getting GEAR UP/College Day students engaged and excited about education.
 
The GEAR UP/ College Day program welcomes all CMU volunteers. GEAR UP/College Day volunteer opportunities are posted on CMU Volunteer Central. Whether you have volunteered with the program several times or are considering volunteering with GEAR UP/ College Day for the first time, check out the upcoming scheduled visits and get involved!
