A Message to the CMU Community
Why is it important to give to the Annual University Campaign? Here
is some insight from our 2012 co-chairs - Tracy Galarowicz and Michelle Veith:
I am honored to serve as the co-chair of the 2012-2013 Annual University Campaign. Over the years, I have been fortunate to work with programs and offices across campus - we are a community of dedicated and talented faculty and staff! The Annual University Campaign is our opportunity for all of us to invest in the continued success of CMU. Our gifts truly make a difference to our students. We can show our support for scholarships, departments, and programs through our designated contributions. In addition, every $2 donation is matched by $1 by CMU during the Annual University Campaign. Thank you for providing opportunities to our student for learning, discovery, and growth!
Tracy Galarowicz, Associate Professor Biology
I am honored and proud to serve as a co-chair for the Annual University Campaign. As an alumnus and employee, I have had so many wonderful and positive experiences at CMU. Everyday, I talk to students who are proud to be earning their degree at CMU and consider it a privilege to be at Central. Many of these students wouldn't be able to be here without the support of donors. Through giving, I have the opportunity to give back and help others to create their CMU memories and be proud to call CMU home.
However you choose to support CMU, from scholarships to athletics, for every $2 donated, $1 will be matched during the Annual University Campaign. Please consider investing in the future of CMU. Thank you and FIRE UP CHIPS!

Annual University Campaign important information:
- The Campaign takes place October 15, 2012 through December 14, 2012
- Again this year, the University will match your generous gifts and pledges with $1 for every $2 donated
- The goal this year is $1,100,000. Last year over $1,008000 was donated to the campaign and 1033 donors.
