You probably already know that CMU offers a great deal of resources to help you in your academic pursuits, but it can sometimes be overwhelming to try to find what you’re looking for at a large university. That’s where ESS comes in.

Our purpose is to help you get the support you need quickly and efficiently, so that you can become a successful college student – and more importantly, an academically prepared, well-rounded CMU graduate.

To that end, our division offers many crucial services such as Residence Life, Student Life, the Volunteer Center and Career Services, just to name a few, that will help you connect to some of the key components of a high quality education.
