Music Instruction and Performing Opportunities
for Children Through Adults
Music learning can be a lifelong journey, and to help begin that
journey Central Michigan University's School of Music is dedicated to
providing quality music instruction to the mid-Michigan area. Numerous
reports and studies have shown the value of engaging children and
adolescents in musical training, developing skills and providing
benefits that last a lifetime.
Private Instrumental & Voice Lessons
Lessons are held in the state-of-the-art School of Music building
on campus. Students enrolled in the fall session receive 10 private
lessons for 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions while the spring session offers

voice lessons are offered for ages 13 through adult. Instructors are

and interest, and with the approval of their applied music professor.
