Safety Education InstructorResponsibilities
Maintain current instructor level in CPR for adult, infant and child and first aid; instruct semester classes; assist as a co-instructor for classes requiring two education instructors; attend and actively participate in all Safety Education in-services and staff meetings; complete all course records and submit to the Assistant Director of Aquatics and Safety; cleaning of mannequins and equipment; conduct challenge courses when scheduled; assist with employee group review in-service sessions; other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Previous customer service experience (preferred); excellent organizational and communication skills; extended knowledge of emergency action plan for all department's facilities and venues; appreciation of individual skills and diversity of class participants; ability to provide a positive environment free of discrimination for all class participants.Certifications Requirement
Adult, child and Infant or Professional Rescuer CPR (American Red Cross) AED, and Standard First Aid Instructor Certification. Lifeguard, BBP and O2 (preferred).To Apply
