Responsibilities
Position Overview: Coordinate and manage all operational functions, programs, student personnel of the Student Activity Center, Rose Center, Intramural Outdoor Complex and Indoor Athletic Complex during hours of operation when the Coordinator of Recreational Services is not on duty.

Major Duties: Enforce and interpret all facility, membership, and employment policies and regulations determined by the department of University Recreation; resolve conflicts; supervise all University Recreation student staff members/volunteers; complete written reports/documents; maintain cash operations; oversee all injury procedures; first responder when medical emergencies occur within any one of the three facilities; request emergency maintenance and repairs from Facilities Management; complete employee performance reports on student employees/volunteers when needed; monitor all room set-ups/breakdowns; record statistical data for facility area usage; assist with events/programs that are scheduled in the facility.

Qualifications
CMU student (undergraduate or graduate) has comparable experience from another recreational facility and/or management experience; have appreciation of a diverse staff, membership and participants; ability to provide a positive environment free of discrimination.

Certifications Requirement
Professional Rescuer CPR*, AED*, Standard First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen* and Right to Know training. *Must be obtained once position as been offered and accepted.
