Project Overview
This project includes renovation of the existing Rose Arena and Rose/Ryan Hall, including installation of all new seating within the arena, addition of a new entrance and north lobby, expansion of the south lobby, addition of a new practice facility and wrestling area, construction of a premium seating/club room area, and expansion of the SAC fitness area.
Infrastructure improvements to the arena, including the installation of air conditioning and new plumbing for additional bathrooms.
The project is targeting certification under LEED-NC (New Construction).
Total Project Budget: $22,500,000

Project Status
The project is being built using a fast track construction method. Work in McGuirk Arena and the new Events Center addition is substantially complete as of December 1, 2010. Work continues for the SAC Fitness Expansion and is on schedule for completion in April 2011.
Upcoming Milestones
Minor punch list items are currently being addressed and are expected to be completed by end of June 2011.
