Need to stream an event live over the Internet? Want to provide a guest lecture recording as an archive? Did you create a video and need a streaming version for your students?
Streaming allows you to view rich media content in a web browser without downloading it to your computer. This is an effective way to broadcast live events as well as provide archives of any videos you use in your course. FaCIT has staff available to record your event and publish it as a streaming archive.
We can also take a recording you may have on tape or on a disk and publish it to a streaming media server. To schedule us for one of your events, simply fill out the Event/Lecture Recording Project Request form.
If you already have the content and would like it published in a streaming format, fill out the Media Conversion Request Form
. For more on media conversion,
