National Broadcasting Society's Mission Statement

To enhance the development of college and university students involved in broadcasting, cable, Internet communication, telecommunication, and other electric media.

Alpha Epsilon Rho is the honor society of NBS. While any student may join NBS, there are strict requirements for membership in Alpha Epsilon Rho, including minimum GPA standards and evidence of creative telecommunications production.

The society sponsors guest speakers, visits to local and regional communications production facilities and raises money for local and national charities. Members also attend yearly regional and nationalNBS-AERho conventions.
