Concentrated Area of Study:
Stacey Pattison, professor of theatre received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Central Michigan University with a concentration on acting/directing. Stacey received her Master of Fine Arts from Louisiana State University with a concentration on acting/performance. A professor at CMU since 1999 Stacey has directed 4 plays and has also continued to perform in productions such as Three Sisters and The Vagina Monologues which she also directed.
Stacey teaches both Acting and Interpretive Reading. Acting I focuses on character study and scene performances. Interpretive reading uses Poetry and Prose to help students with presentations focusing on voice, movement and emotion.

Association of Theatre in Higher Education, New York City. (2003) Paper presentation focusing on the response of a small community to The Vagina Monologues.
Awards:
Athletics Faculty Appreciation Award, 2003-2005 for being a positive influence on the lives of students.
