Interpretation Showcase: December 5 & 6
ALL students of TAI 170 and TAI 373 are invited to perform at a student showcase of works developed throughout the semester within their interpretation classes. Students may request recommendation from their TAI professors to be considered for this performance opportunity. Individual performances are limited to 5 minutes of memorized material.
New Student Works Festival: February 21-24 (Submission Deadline: November 21)
Students are encouraged to submit original adaptations of poetry or prose of American authors, published between 1850-1950. Adaptations should be 10-20 minutes in length and may be an adaptation of a single work or a compilation of several shorter works. Submission deadline for this juried event is November 21, 2012. Works chosen through the jury process will be minimally produced in workshop format in the Kiva for this festival and celebration of new work. Contact Elizabeth Richard for application guidelines.
